One of the biggest current problems for our environment is the enormous human consumption of products. Synthetic makeup brushes are typically made of man-made materials like nylon, taklon or polyester fibers. These materials are not biodegradable. Packaging is also primarily made up of plastic and it takes over 450 years to decompose. 

“Batu Beauty” as a product and its packaging are completely sustainable made up primarily of bamboo. As a renewable resource it is being harvested and continues to grow new shoots from its root system.
